The Essure procedure is a method of permanent birth control (also known as sterilization) for women.  Unlike tubal ligation and vasectomy, the Essure procedure does not involve cutting into the body and can be done in our office. In office procedures take very little time out of busy women's lives and most women return to their normal activities within one day.  Tens of thousands of Essure procedures have been performed worldwide since 1998.  The Essure procedure is covered by most health insurance plans.
